I am a Cell Biology professional engaged in and responsible for advanced bio therapies and cell therapy clinical trials in neurological disorders and brain tumors. I have a strong background in basic science and clinical Stem Cells that gives me broad skills and insight into medical and scientific terminology and extensive experience in setting up and diving phase I and II trials in the CNS area. My background as a laboratory and clinical scientist and in the biotechnology industry makes me highly adaptable to a variety of tasks including data interpretation, and synthesis. During my postgraduate studies, I learned the importance of good communication with patients and colleagues to build strong ties to ensure accurate results. Im a fast learner who thrives on new challenges. I have significant experience as director of research both in public institutions and private enterprises. I am also active in the public communication sector and scientific divulgation with numerous appearances on national radio and tv. I have been awarded national and international prizes, served in numerous international boards and select committees, company administration and advisory boards, founded a not for profit foundation for neurological disorders and I have been granted numerous patent applications.
