The card is targeting a considerably lower price point than the GeForce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070, with a smaller GPU – codenamed GP106 – that still manages to support all of the key Pascal architectural features. What we have is a $250 GTX 1060 facing off against a $240 RX 480 8GB and this fight over the mid-range market should be great news for consumers.
