Alessandro Mendini designed this object in a small edition as “mini monuments for spiritual use.” Also it is a retrospection to the different wooden chairs, which he burnt since the 1974 years. This piece was made 1983 in the Atelier Mendini, Milano a later similar Edition was produced by Vitra in 1996
