Princess Zelda, in Ocarina of Time, is the Princess of Hyrule and one in a long line of Princess Zeldas. In Ocarina, Zelda's role is very unique - she appears to Link as a child and an adult, and as Link travels back and forth in time, manifests as such, respectively. She also takes the form of Sheik when Link is an adult, and serves as the Seventh Sage.
