Episode 2: Ryuukozan Soran and company arrive at Ryuukozan where the Raten Taishou is being held. There, he meets the outsiders who have gathered from each of the areas such as Ya Ou from the Wudang Sect, and Sei Shoukatsu who is the grandson of the great Shokatsu. There, Rikukin tells the competitors that whomever wins Raten Taishou shall inherit the Tsuutenroku technique, a highly coveted ability. In the first season, the protagonist, Soran Chou, hiding that he is an "outsider" (someone able to use special abilities), encounters a mysterious girl named Houhou Fuu who holds the secret to eternal life.
