November 26, Thanksgiving Day, is a national holiday. Historically, it’s a day for giving thanks for the harvest of the preceding year.  The “First Thanksgiving” was celebrated by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in the New World in 1621.  It is said to have lasted three days and was attended by 90 Native Americans
