The big bundle of Battlestar Galactica DVDs which landed on our desks last week - to mark the release of the complete series - reminded us how great the show was. The acting, political undertones and dramatic intensity of BSG were all ace, but we reckon it was the shakey-cam space battles that were actually the coolest thing about the show. This got the IGN movie team thinking about great cinematic rumbles in outer space - from Star Wars and Star Trek - to lesser known gems like Titan A.E. We've limited ourselves to films, so great space battles in the likes of Deep Space 9, Farscape and Babylon 5 will have to wait for another day.
