Vortec heads on earlier 350. GMT400 - The Ultimate 88-98 GM Truck Forum

I have a 89 C1500 with a 350 engine. Has anyone replaced their heads with the 1996 and later vortec heads. Is there an intake manifold that will work with these heads, and still be compatible with the throttle body injection. Would this be compatible with the stock computer. Thanks for any input.
